Motorcycle: A specific model motorcycle fender is custom modified to fit an entirely different motorcycle.
The above photo shows a Honda CBR 954 front fender. It is going to be modified to fit another model motorcycle.
Clearly Repair Plastic is not just meant for repairs only!
Holes were drilled in the top of the fender to create a good mechanical and chemical bond of the RP to the ABS fender. In this instance white Repair Plastic was used, but the person doing the repair ran out and ended up using black as well. The different colors of Repair Plastic are easily mixed with one another. Chameleon is the appropriate RP to use when adding color. In this instance the fender will be painted so white RP was used. Aside from using RP to create new mounting points, the sides of the fender needed to be built up to remove the large gap between the fender and front fork. Once enouch RP was added to either side it was filed smooth and prepped for paint.
The photo shows the newly modified fender mounted on a different set of forks than the original forks intended for it.
